The ShalvaTea™ Soothing Rose-Peppermint blend is an uplifting and naturally sweet tea, mixing the soothing quality of licorice with a rosey-peppermint base. Fresh sumac and rose hips give the infusion a hint of tartness (as well as some Vitamin C), while the white savory adds a slightly cooling and refreshing effect. A great tea any time of day, especially when you feel like indulging yourself with something special! It's also ideal for soothing the throat (especially for singers).
This blend was inspired by the native plants of the Elah Valley in central Israel, named for the abundance of wild “elah” (pistachio) trees that dot the landscape, although perhaps most famous for the epic battle of David and Goliath. The open valley is home to a huge array of wildflowers from late winter through mid-summer, from the pink almond blooms to the bright blue lupines.
